On February 23, 2026, a check dam sponsored by the Rotary Club of Delhi Akash Megapolis was inaugurated in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, followed by a community interaction. Currently under construction, the structure is designed to store over 54 million litres of water, raise the groundwater table by an estimated 10–15 feet, and extend irrigation availability by nearly two months.

The inauguration was attended by Mr. Sanjiv Saran, Project Manager – India and member of the Rotary Club of Delhi Akash Megapolis, along with 25 Rotarians from seven countries and the PHDRDF team, reflecting strong international commitment and community participation.
