
Under the PWABHI initiative, PHD Rural Development Foundation, with support from Rotary Club of Delhi Premier, conducted an exposure visit and advanced agriculture training for 40 farmers and 7 staff members at Escorts Kubota Advanced Farming Institute, Kurukshetra from 29 March to 1 April 2026.
The training focused on modern agricultural practices, farm mechanization, soil health, and sustainable farming techniques. Key sessions included soil testing, land preparation, integrated nutrient and pest management, protected cultivation, and livelihood development. A model farm visit provided practical, on-ground exposure to participants.
On the final day, participants attended a specialized session at the Integrated Bee Keeping Development Centre (IBDC), Ramnagar, gaining hands-on experience in modern beekeeping practices.
The initiative strengthened farmers’ capacities by promoting technology-driven and efficient farming practices, aimed at improving productivity and income. Certificates were distributed to all participants upon completion of the training.
